Sequoia National Forest was an awe – inspiring place to visit. My mouth was ajar and my head tilted backward for most of my visit. I am thankful I had my best friend there to guide me along the way and keep me from running into rocks and fallen branches.
It was an incredible experience especially for a tree lover like me but I think it would be a great experience for anyone. I have written out a few of my Sequoia Must Dos so that when you get tree-struck like me, you have an agenda and actually end up getting things done!
5. Stop at the look out points on the way out of the park, the views are breathtaking! (Do this on the way out of the park, not on the way in or else you may so distracted and not reach the forest until late).
** BONUS – If you’re driving from LA, it takes 4 hours. So as we did: Drive up at 5 am on a weekday and head back by 3 pm. You will have the road to yourself and enjoy the drive.
Ok, so now all you have to do is go visit Sequoia because it’s awesome! If you have been would you add any other tips that I missed?
