Today, I’m sharing a special Restaurant feature from the Style with Buki Archives: Acqua al 2 is a delicious Italian escape located in the heart of Eastern Market, on Capitol Hill. I first heard about Acqua al 2 while living in Florence, Italy and was delighted when a restaurant opened in DC. Every dish served is delicious and a true pleasure to enjoy.
Parmigiana al Forno – Grilled eggplant, baked in tomato sauce and parmigianoOrecchiette ai Broccoli – Ear-shaped pasta in a light broccoli sauce with parmigianoAssaggio di Secondi – A sampling of three house steaks
When trying Acqua al Due for the first time, I recommend ordering a sampling of the pasta and steak dishes which are selected by the head Chef each day.
Aqua al 2’s interior decor is warm, welcoming and uniquely designed to transport you to Florence Italy. The soft leather seats, exposed brick wall, and paintings of Florentine streets outside their large windows make it is easy to forget you’re in DC.Their delectable Tuscan cuisine is exceptional as is their service which is why I have dined there so many times and will continue to. My favorite dishes include the Carpaccio di Tonno, the Parmigiana al Forno and the Filetto al Mirtillo.|Shot at Acqua al 2, on Capitol Hill, Washington D.C || Photography by K. Manfredi|
Dining at Acqua al 2 is a must for DC visitors and residents alike. Their food is delicious, the service is note-worthy they give back to the Eastern Market community and DC as a whole by supporting local charities and organizations.
Acqua al 2 is one of my go to Washington DC restaurants and I enjoy it more each time I dine.
